This shows how BrownhillsBob.com looks on an iPad - completely different to the theme Bob chose and see how the URL uses #! instead of the normal link structure. That’s really bad practice and just because Twitter does it, it does not make it cool.

MS Live Search Re-brand or Cloud Computing Effort?

Microsoft Rebranding Live Search As Kumo.com? suggests that Microsoft may be considering re-branding Live Search as Kumo. It’s not all that long since they gave us Live Search, so unless they think a new lick of pant will make the product any good, I’m doubtful the rumour is true.

The thing that got my attention is that Kumo translates to “cloud” (or “spider”) in Japanese. Could this be part of a Microsoft effort to deliver applications and services as part of ‘the cloud’?
